Buzz Bands LA’s annual “Dear Austin, Love L.A.” showcase and day party goes off from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. today at Opal Divine’s Freehouse, 700 W. 6th Street in Austin. If you’re in Texas for South by Southwest, stop by – it’s free, no RSVP necessary.

The lunch hour kicks off with sets from folk artists Fairbanks and Yellow Red Sparks before the rockers take over, with Criminal Hygiene, Hindu Pirates, Pageants, the Lonely Wild, the Dead Ships, Cayucas and Beach Party to follow.
