Happy Monday:

‣ With the release of their debut album “Synesthesia” only a week away, L.A. quartet Hands continue their residency at the Echo, with support from Body Parts, Caught a Ghost and DJ Valida. And Buzz Bands LA will be on hand for some between-band DJ sets.
‣ At the Bootleg Bar, it’s resident Gavin Turek, along with Ross Sea Party and Moses Sumney.
Chief continues its stand at the Satellite, joined by Tashaki Miyaki, Strangelove and Chase Cohl.
The Brooklyn Festival continues at Disney Hall with the West Coast premiere of “Planetarium,” featuring classical compositions from Sufjan Stevens, Bryce Dessner of the National and composer Nico Muhly. That’s an excerpt from “Jupiter,” as performed in Sydney, Australia, above.
‣ That show with Wavves, FIDLAR and Cheatahs at the Smell is sold out (Wavves is back to play the Echo later in the week).
‣ And fresh off their Coachella dates, Japandroids rock the Glass House.
