‣ Robyn Hitchcock & the Venus 3 roll through town and stop at the Troubadour in support of Hitchock’s latest album “Love From London.” Peter Buck supports.
‣ New York’s favorite tapping guitarist Marnie Stern headlines the Satellite in support of her latest album “The Chronicles of Marnia.” [That’s her video for “Immortals” above.] Shoegaze band SISU and punk trio Qui open.
‣ Chad Valley, aka Hugo Manuel, brings his smooth electro to the Echo where Ski Lodge and Oddience also round out the bill.
‣ Kan Wakan play Sayers Club in Hollywood as part of their LoHiFi series.
‣ Black Apples wrap up their residency at Harvard Stone and go out with a bang by including local acts Body Parts and Francisco the Man.
‣ And the Central SAPC hosts the last night of DWNTWN and the Mercy Beat’s co-residency. The Hard Knocks and Circus Kids also play.
