Phoenix, Dinosaur Jr., Liars, the Raveonettes and Miami Horror top lineup for Culture Collide Festival

Coachella headliner Phoenix will join Dinosaur Jr. at a special concert to launch FILTER magazine’s Culture Collide festival Oct. 9-12. The festival, which annually has brought internationally talent to various venues throughout Echo Park, will kick off Oct. 9 at the L.A. Sports Arena with Phoenix and Dinosaur Jr., a separately ticketed event that goes on sale this Thursday.
The first batch of bands announcedthe rest of the 25-nation Culture Collide includes Liars, the Raveonettes, Miami Horror, King Khan & the Shrines, Medicine, Icage and Alice Russell. Early-bird wristbands ($20) for the rest of the festival are on sale now for $20 (presale code “cc2013”). Presale for the Sports Arena show begins at 10 a.m. Thursday.
