A sweet Wednesday night of shows:

The Happy Hollows celebrate the release of their sophomore album “Amethyst” with a show at the Satellite, supported by Nightmare Air and Son of Stan.
‣ Manchester rockers the 1975, whose self-titled debut is on the way Sept. 10, headline the Troubadour, supported by Bad Suns. That’s the 1975’s video for “The City,” above, and you should check out the song “Chocolate” too.
The Postal Service return for a second night at the Greek Theatre, along with Divine Fits and Baths.
‣ It’s the second of two nights for U.K. post-punkers Savages at the El Rey Theatre as well. Johnny Hostile supports.
‣ NYC’s Baby Alpaca visits the Bootleg Bar, supported by Maston.
‣ And local psych-rockers Mt. Ossa continue their residency at the Echo, playing along with Tigercide and Glorious Wondour.
