‣ Katy Perry celebrates the release of her new album “Prisms” tonight at the Hollywood Bowl, where she will be joined on her “We Will Survive” tour by Ellie Goulding, Sara Bareilles, Tegan and Sara and Kacey Musgraves.
‣ James Blake does his second L.A. show in as many nights, this one on the Fairbanks Lawn at Hollywood Forever Cemetery. Bundle up.
‣ Sanglorians tee it up at the Bootleg Bar to mark the release of their debut album “Initiation.” Derde Verde, Bed and Turbo Lightning at the Bootleg Bar
‣ Spindrift has a new album out this week too, “Ghost of the West.” And the L.A.-based rockers bring their distinctive brand of Western psychedelia to the Echo for a show with SWIMM and Church of Sun.
‣ And indie-pop outfit Peachy Keene celebrates its EP release with a show at Harvard & Stone.
