Here’s what’s up on the first Friday of a new month:

‣ Manchester pop quartet The 1975 visit the Fonda Theatre behind its self-titled album, released in September. Linus Young opens. That’s the 1975’s cheeky video for “Girls,” above.
‣ It’s a night of hard stuff at the Greek Theatre, with Deftones, whose most recent release “Koi No Yokan” was honored as album of the year at last year’s Revolver Golden God Awards, and Glassjaw.
The Moody Blues bring their “Timeless Flight Tour” to the Nokia Theatre.
‣ Norwegian soul man Bernhoft headlines the Troubadour, with Sivert Hoyem supporting.
‣ Canadian country-rockers the Sadies celebrate the release of their new album “Internal Sounds” with a show at the Echo, with the Tyde supporting.
‣ Louisiana rocker Dax Riggs holds forth at the Satellite – get there early for EFG (Electric Flower Group.)
The Soul of John Black brings its “Sunshine State of Mind” to the Mint, with Tina Vonn supporting.
‣ Lo-fi crazy man Nobunny heads up the party at the Echoplex, and Fever the Ghost opens.
‣ And speaking of bunnies, Gram Rabbit and Okapi Sun do a Halloween-themed show at Pappy & Harriet’s in Pioneertown.

Kanye West’s show at the Honda Center was postponed.
