KCSNnew-large copyIt’s a big night in the land of KCSN – the Rides, Lucinda Williams and LP will be doing the annual KCSN Benefit Concert at the Valley Performing Arts Center, for one thing (some tickets are still available). And the L.A. Buzz Bands Show convenes at 9 o’clock on 88.5 FM (streaming at KCSN.org), with my weekly hour of SoCal music, coming your way from the campus of Cal State Northridge. Included on tonight’s program: tunes from new album releases by Kiev, the Black Watch, Body Parts, Tommy Keene and Best Coast, along with songs from soon-to-arrive albums by Liam Gowing and LA Font. Oh, and fresh-out-of-my-mail songs from the Record Company and Black Hi-Lighter. After the jump, tonight’s playlist:

The Black Watch, “I Don’t Feel the Same”
Best Coast, “Who Have I Become?”
Body Parts, “Desperation”
The Moth & the Flame, “Sorry”
Kiev, “Falling Bough”
Superhumanoids, “So Strange”
Liam Gowing, “So Long (Pine Box)”
Patrick Park, “We Fall Out of Touch”
LA Font, “Diving Man”
Night Terrors of 1927, “Young and Vicious”
Yellow Marbles, “Jackie”
Tommy Keene, “Much Too Fun” (The Who cover)

… and more to come
