Above:  Pickwick, the Seattle-based band who recently changed their folk and garage-rock band sound to one that has a bit more soul and R&B flow, plays SoCal twice this week in support of “Can’t Talk Medicine.” Pickwick plays Friday at the Troubadour and Saturday at the Constellation Room. @KRBronson recommends: Even without knowing the identity of the “very” special guests (although we have some guesses), Saturday’s “We All Join Hands: A Benefit for Richard Gowen” promises to be a remarkable night. Proceeds from the show will go to held defray recent medical expenses incurred by Gowen, who’s drummed for Jonathan Wilson, Robert Francis and many more. The lineup features Dawes, Nick Waterhouse, Allah-Las, Pink Mountaintops, Neal Casal, the Tyde and Robert Francis.
