Around the last time the Afghan Whigs released an album, the House of Representatives was preparing impeachment proceedings against President Bill Clinton in light of the Monica Lewinsky fiasco. Yeah, it’s been a minute. But Greg Dulli [pictured at SXSW 2013] and gang have a new one on the way – Sub Pop today announced that the band’s seventh album and first in 16 years, “Do the Beast,” would be out April 15. No music to share yet, but the Afghan Whigs are playing Coachella in April.
