Our staff picks of the week:

@KRBronson recommends: Influential electronic and industrial music pioneer Gary Numan returned at full throttle late last year, releasing “Splinter (Songs From a Broken Mind,” considered by most to be his most compelling work in three decades. He visits the Mayan Theatre on Thursday night, supported by Big Black Delta and Roman Remains, the new project from Liela Moss and Toby Butler from the Duke Spirit.

@Seraphina_L recommends:  Songstress Mirah returns with a new solo album titled “Changing Light” on her brand new label Absolute Magnitude, and she stops by the Satellite on Saturday to sing new songs like “Oxen Hope.” Ages and Ages support.
