‣ SoCal quartet Augustana, celebrating the release of its fourth album “Life Imitating Life,” does the first of two nights at the Troubadour, supported by Twin Forks and the Tragic Thrills. That’s Augustana’s new video for “Ash and Ember,” above.
DWNTWN had a new EP out tomorrow, and the trio of Jamie Leffler Robert Cepeda and Chris Sanchez play It’s a School Night at Bardot tonight along with Elliphant, Elizabeth Rose and Alyeska.
‣ Psych-rockers Jeffertitti’s Nile – whose full-length “The Electric Hour” comes out this week – plays the Echo as part of Mystic Braves’ residency. Levitation Room and L’Aura Moire also perform.
‣ Fresh off a set at Stagecoach, Jason Isbell visits the Roxy Theatre, supported by Holly Williams.
Lawrence Rothman winds up his residency at the Bootleg on a big night that includes a set from Brooklyn’s TEEN.
Banta, wraps up its residency at the Silverlake Lounge, supported by John Rogers, the Lexingtons and Jim Delore & the Cult of Light.
‣ And Mosco Rosco completes its April stand at the Satellite, supported by Magic Giant, BadBad and Melpo Mene.
