‣ Monogem kicks off a Sunday night residency at the Bootleg Bar, supported by Alina Cutrono (Body Parts), Smoke Season and Yeo.
‣ A matinee benefit at the Bootleg Theater (starting at 1 p.m.) features hillbilly gospel trio Jacksh*t, the Rick Holmstrom Band and Earthworm Ensemble. Proceeds from the show, organized by trumpeter Sarah Kramer, benefit the launch of the Sacred Garden Playgroup children’s center.
‣ Maryland quintet O.A.R. closes out a three-night stand at the Troubadour with material from their forthcoming new album “The Rockville LP,” named for their hometown.
‣ And the Far West heads up the bill at this week’s Grand Ole Echo at the Echo, which kicks off at 3 p.m. and also features Jackson Tanner and Leggy Peggy.
