Here’s what’s up on a terrific Tuesday:

‣ Ray LaMontagne plays the Cathedral Sanctuary at Immanuel Presbyterian Church behind the release of his fifth album, the Dan Auerbach-produced “Supernova,” and the Bell Brigade opens.
‣ Guitar duo Rodrigo y Gabriela do the first of two L.A. shows behind their new album “9 Dead Alive.” Tonight, they’re at the Orpheum
Jenny Lewis has new tunes too, and she’ll be debuting some of them at the sold-out Roxy Theatre.
‣ The Walkmen’s Hamilton Leithauser does a second night at the Hotel Café in anticipation of the release of his solo album “Black Hours” (out June 3). That’s the video for “11 O’Clock Friday Night,” above.
‣ L.A. quartet Dead Sara, who’ve been holed up working on material for a sophomore album, emerges to headline the Echo, with Vanaprasta and the Vim Dicta supporting.
Afternoons headline the Satellite, where Charlie Wadhams plays new material from his forthcoming album “Out at the Bar” and Timothy James (formerly of the Movies) does a solo set.
‣ And Bonfire Beach and the Rebel Light head up a strong night at the Virgil that also includes Winter and Blood Candy.
