A typically mad Monday:

‣ The “Welcome to Dillaville Tour” celebrates the work of the late J Dilla at the El Rey Theatre with performances from the Bizarre Ride – the Pharcyde’s and SlimKid3, along with producers J-Sw!ft and L.A. Jay – and Slum Village.
‣ Social Distortion guitarist Jonny Wickersham – dba Jonny Two Bags – celebrates the release of his solo album “Salvation Town” with a show at El Cid. It’s a free show, with Sean Wheeler & Zander Schloss and Mostly Sunny supporting and some rumored special guests waiting in the wings.
‣ Soul man Jarell Perry continues his residency at the Bootleg on a Buzz Bands LA-presented night that features Pr0files,  Liphemra and Nyemiah Supreme.
‣ The tag-team residency of the Mercy Beat and In the Valley Below continues at the Echo, where Dark Furs and the New Electric Sound support. Above is the Mercy Beat’s video for the single “Sweet,” which will appear on the quartet’s debut EP “Oskar” (due June 17).
Air Life does its second Monday at the Satellite, supported by Cassorla, Fame Cult, 8th Grader and Scott Bartenhagen.
‣ And at It’s a School Night at Bardot, it’s Australia’s Strange Talk, along with Lincoln Jesser, Cheers Elephant and Jacob Snider.
