And on the final Monday of the month:

‣ Philadelphia’s auspiciously named quartet Nothing brings the audacious shoegazing on its new album “Guilty of Everything” to the Echoplex on a strong bill that sees Youth Code and Whirr supporting.
‣ Fresh off a gig at Sasquatch, French electro-pop artist Yelle plays It’s a School Night at Bardot, along with Skaters, Pyramid Vritra and Chancellor Warhol.
‣ All good things must come to an end, and so it is with the May residencies – Jody Porter (of Fountain of Wayne) at the Viper Room; In the Valley Below and the Mercy Beat (with Omniflux and Will Love supporting) at the Echo;
Air Life at the Satellite (with Yoya, Sweet Bump It, Tower and Hayley Kiyoko supporting); Jarell Perry at the Bootleg (with Gallant, Dead Times and Alex Isley); and the Acetates at the Silverlake Lounge (with Trash Honey, Steps of Doe and Devon Geyer).
‣ Road trippin’ on the holiday weekend? It’s Panda Bear and Peaking Lights at Pappy & Harriet’s in Pioneertown.
