L.A. favorites Avid Dancer have emerged with a new music video for their song “All Your Words Are Gone” from their upcoming debut “1st Bath,” due April 14 via Grand Jury Records. Marine line drummer-turned-guitar-wielding-frontman Jacob Dillan Summers is the calming face of the video full of soothing pastel colors, paper shapes and a collection of scenes all sweetly strange: a tower of sugar cubes, dancing legs, inflatable eyeballs, fingers, tongues, and cellophane faces. “All Your Words Are Gone” is a relaxing American-indie-pop gem with a gentle melody and lovelorn jangle that builds up to a vulnerable message. Dillan sings in his fresh and clear voice the feel-good chorus, “Throw away all things not worth needin’/Open your eyes and start believin.” As usual, Avid Dancer’s emotive psych-pop tenderly nudges in all the right places.
||| Live: Avid Dancer will be performing at SXSW from March 18 to March 21 preceding their tour with Delta Spirit.
