First Monday in April, and it’s a good one:

â–º System of a Down [pictured] kicks off their “Wake Up the Souls” tour (advocating for the recognition of and reparations for the Armenian Genocide) with a show at the Forum
â–º Odessa [see “I Will Be There”] kicks off a run of free Mondays, leading up to the late-April release of her debut album, at the Bootleg HiFi. Co-presented by Buzz Bands LA, the opening night also features Paul Bergmann and Emily Gold.
â–º Big lineup for It’s a School Night at Bardot, with Francisco the Man, Lost Lander, Talk in Tongues and Navvi.
â–º Dorothy launches her residency at the Satellite, supported by Ivory DeVille, Folk Riot and Twinsmith at the Satellite
â–º At the Echo, dream-pop quartet Winter has the residency, backed on opening night by So Many Wizards, IAN and the Squids at the Echo
â–º Long-running French prog-rockers Magma hold forth at the Echoplex.
â–º And it’s Maroon 5 at the Honda Center.
