Make Music Pasadena brings more than 150 artists to 30 venues around the Crown City of for a free, all-ages, all-day festival. Among the artists: How to Dress Well, Nick Waterhouse, Hundred Waters, Kishi Bashi, Sir Sly, Avid Dancer and the Moth & the Flame. Find updated set times and Buzz Bands LA’s mixtape here. ► Also in Pasadena: De Lux plays at One Colorado (7:30 p.m.) as part of the KCRW Summer Nights series.
► In downtown Santa Ana, it’s the East End Block Party, with Gap Dream, Audacity, the Abigails, Levitation Room, Melted and more.
► Colombian electronic psych-rockers Bomba Estereo visit the Fonda Theatre, with Little Jesus and Sante Les Amis opening.
Kitten rocks the Troubadour, joined by Olivver the Kid, Mereki and Fiona Grey.
► At the El Rey, it’s Scott Weiland, joined by Blondfire, Vox Waves and Stocklyn.
► And Oakland indie-pop band Trails & Ways, their album “Pathology” just out, plays the Bootleg HiFu, supported by Waterstrider and Harriet Brown.
