► Day 2 of the Playboy Jazz Festival at the Hollywood Bowl features Ledisi, Terence Blanchard E-Collective, Ozomatli, the Dizzy Gillespie Big Band under the direction of John Lee, Snarky Puppy, King Sunny Ade and his African Beats, Preservation Hall Jazz Band and more.
► Husband-and-wife duo Johnnyswim hit the Troubadour in support of their new album “Diamonds,” with Britten Newbill opening. Above, the video for the title track.
David Divad celebrates the release of his debut album “Healing Hands” with a show at the Hotel Café, with the Coat and the Colors opening.
► And Rose’s Pawn Shop heads up the lineup at Grand Ole Echo at the Echo, with Jackson Tanner, Tommy Ash and Andrew Sheppard also performing (3 p.m. doors).
