After a couple of years of mostly DIY releases and entirely fun live shows, Tapioca & the Flea are no more. But principals Samuel Jacob-Lopez and Ronnie Watson have rebooted as Little Wolves, and fans who hungered for more of TATF’s trippy synth-pop won’t be disappointed. The duo’s first single, “Home,” finds Jacob-Lopez back in the upper registers, singing longingly over radiant production from RAC (Andre Anjos). “Home” appears as part of a free Red Bull Sound Select four-pack of songs with tunes from AWOLNATION (remixed by Steve Aoki), Gemini Club and Baby Baby. Put this on your mix with Neon Indian and Small Black, maybe? Little Wolves will announce release plans soon for their debut EP, “Savage.”
