The Album Leaf and more added to Culture Collide lineup

The Album Leaf, the long-running project of ambient music genius Jimmy LaValle, has been added the lineup of the Culture Collide festival Oct. 8-10 in Los Angeles. The Album Leaf’s latest album, “New Soul,” will out Oct. 5

Culture CollideOther notable additions include Caught a Ghost, Maudlin Strangers, Enola Fall and Crooked Colours, along with Tuka, Avaberee, Diamente Electrico, Green Gerry, Hotel for Strangers and LFNT. The headliners include U.K. rockers Ash, New Zealand’s LadyHawke and the Juan Maclean.

In addition to the more than 60 artists playing the festival’s various venues, there will be an independent label market on from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday in the Taix parking lot featuring the wares of more than 20 labels, plus the annual Creative Summit of industry panels.

Single-day wristbands are on sale for $20, or fans can opt for a $10 wristband that gives access to all venues excluding the Echoplex. It’s complicated, but individual links are below:
