The news here is not that Pr0files have unleashed another drenched-in-synth single, but that the electro duo of Lauren Pardini and Danny Sternbaum have finally stockpiled enough brooding bloodletters for their full-length album. The duo have announced that their debut “Jurassic Technologie” would be out in February and will include all their previously released singles, including the stop-you-in-your-tracks “Call Yourself a Lover,” which launched their collaboration in late 2013. “We write songs about sex addiction, hypnotherapy and love,” the duo explains, which just about covers it, right? “Empty Hands” feels like the best hangovers we ever had in the 1980s … you know, the ones that were worth it.
