Desaparecidos cancels tour dates after Conor Oberst falls ill

Desaparecidos have canceled 21 tour dates after 35-year-old frontman Conor Oberst fell ill in Jacksonville, Fla., and was hospitalized briefly. A statement from the band said Oberst was suffering from “laryngitis, anxiety and exhaustion,” and doctors advised him to return to his home in Omaha to recuperate.

Included in the cancellations were shows Nov. 12 at the Teragram Ballroom and Nov. 13 at the Observatory.
