► Day 1 of HARD Day of the Dead, with Deadmau5, Nero, Hot Chip, Future, Flying Lotus, Vic Mensa, Pete Tong and more, goes off the Fairplex in Pomona. Click the link for set times.
► With the new album “Skeletons” set for a Nov. 27 release, Danzig bring their “Blackest of the Black Tour” to the Microsoft Theater. Prong, Veil of Maya, Superjoint Ritual and Witch Mountain join in the darkness.
► South Bay punk rockers Joyce Manor rage at the Fonda Theatre, with Girlpool and Dogbreth opening.
► FIDLAR does a second night at the Regent Theater, with Dune Rats and No Win opening.
► Melvins return to the Echo (doing a different show that last Saturday), with Hepa-Titus opening.
► Vinyl Williams, who’s been touring behind his latest album “Into,” joins JJUUJJUU, HOTT MT and more for a night at Non Plus Ultra. A special guest is expected to be announced later today, so stay tuned.
► At Alex’s Bar in Long Beach, it Jello Biafra and The Guantanomo School of Medicine, Fartbarf and Death Hymn #9.
► And old-school L.A. punk-rockers the Gears do a show at Cafe NELA, along with the Rikk Agnew Band and ​Death on the Radio.
