Australian indie-rockers the Jezabels have wasted little time following up their 2014 album “The Brink” — the coed quartet will release their third album “Synthia” on Feb. 12. The first single “Come Alive” edges forward on haunting synth and percussion for 2 1/2 minutes before coming alive with a dreamy chorus and, a minute later, exploding into an arena-sized rocker. The tune is one of 28 tracks featured on the “Dine Alone Records Winter Sampler” — all available for free download here. The compilation includes several songs that ahve been featured on these pages: Matthew Logan Vasquez’s “Everything I Do Is Out” and Sego’s “Micky Macali” among them, along with songs by FIDLAR, Broncho, Dune Rats, Noah Gundersen, Craig Finn, Yukon Blonde and more. Stream them all below before you download.
