The GIRLSCHOOL Field Day Weekend — a three-day festival featuring 20 musical acts, plus DJs, artists, vendors and a panel discussion — kicks off Friday at the Bootleg Theater.

Jade (aka Jade Castrinos, formerly of Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros) has been added to the lineup, which includes Dead Sara, Nina & Louise of Veruca Salt, Kim & the Created and Riothorse Royale. Jade will perform at 8:30 p.m. Friday.

Buzz Bands LA’s GIRLSCHOOL mixtape includes 18 of the 20 artists — it’s missing a Friday night “secret guest” and a song from Jade, who doesn’t have any music online yet.
