Alone again, naturally. Nite Jewel, whose early lo-fi charm made her sound like the loneliest girl in the world, returns to the cloistered environs of her bedroom for her third full-length. It’s titled (appropriately, from the vibe of the first single) “Liquid Cool,” due June 10 via her own Gloriette Records. The album is the follow-up to 2012’s “One Second of Love,” which was released by Secretly Canadian. She’s parted ways with that label and has recalibrated. Last year, she says, “I put all my gear — including my 8 track — in a walk-in closet. I had left my label and was back in my element. I felt like I had found my identity again.”  The album, she explains, explores the theme of being alone in a crowded, disconnected world. The icy, spare first single “Boo Hoo” is perfect for multi-taskers: Cry, dance, cry some more.
