No Parents

It’s often said that parents just don’t understand, but parents’ parents often understand quite less, especially when it comes to the punk predilections of their tattooed, bleached-head, smelly drunk grandkids making noise in the garage with their band. “Hey Grandma” is an anthem for disgruntled youth. Though we would never condone calling your grandma the C-word, the latest from Zoe Reign, Ryan McGuffin, Killian LeDuke, Davis LeDuke, and Monte Najera, collectively No Parents, is catchy and profane, with a funny video to boot. Following up their debut album “May The Thirst Be With You” (Burger Records), No Parents is releasing a new series of singles, including a 12-inch through Ring The Alarm called “Hey Grandma and The Greatest Hits,” which drops May 13. The A-side is “Hey Grandma” and the B-side consists of thirty 30-second songs which capture the No Parents ethos. Let the insubordination begin.
