Prophets of Rage announce huge tour, including Sept. 15 at the Forum

Fresh off explosive shows at the Whisky, the Palladium and then in Brooklyn, the supergroup Prophets of Rage have announced a 35-date North American tour that includes a Sept. 15 date at the Forum.

The group, which is named after the Public Enemy song, includes Public Enemy’s Chuck D, Cypress Hill’s B Real and DJ Muggs and Rage Against the Machine’s Tim Commerford, Tom Morello and Brad Wilk. They’re calling the election-year tour “Make America Rage Again” and a portion of proceeds from each show will be going to homeless charities.

Included is a July 19 date at a venue to be announced in Cleveland, which is concurrent with the Republican National Convention in that city.

Tickets for the Forum show ($29.50-$99.50) go on sale here at 10 a.m. Friday.
