► Day 2 of the Playboy Jazz Festival brings Fourplay, Bob James, Nathan East, Chuck Loeb, Harvey Mason, Janelle Monae, Robert Cray, Sonny Landreth, Roy Gaines, Pete Escovedo, Sheila E, Javon Jackson, Jimmy Heath, George Cables, Liv Warfield, Peter Washington, Christian Scott, Anthony Strong and George Lopez to the Hollywood Bowl.

► South African rockers the Parlotones haven’t visited L.A. since 2013, but they’re back tonight, playing the Roxy in support of their latest album “Antiques & Artifacts” at the Roxy Theatre. The Active Set opens.
► And Ray Little (the new project from Lauren Little of Queen Caveat) plays the Bootleg Theater, with Puscie Jones and GROZ supporting.
