“It’s Time,” the new single from R&B/jazz time traveler Nick Waterhouse, arrives drenched in organ, splashed with a female backup chorus and swinging enough to make your hips drunk after one verse. It’s the first taste of the 30-year-old’s third album, “Never Twice,” due Sept. 30 via Innovative Leisure. Produced by Mike McHugh, who worked on Waterhouse’s 2012 debut “Time’s All Gone,” the album features contributions from jazz flautist Bob Kenmotsu, saxophonist Ralph Carney and organist Will Blades, along with a guest turn from Leon Bridges on the song “Katchi.”
