Los Angeles concerts for Saturday:
► Chicago instrumental trio Russian Circles bring the towering metal on their new album “Guidance” to the Teragram Ballroom, with Cloakroom opening.
► The Kills, having dazzled at Coachella and the Mayan back in April make a return trip to L.A. in support of their album “Ash & Ice.” Autolux opens the show at the Wiltern.
► Buskerfest brings the Kingston Ska Collective, Joseph Arthur, Greater California, Rafferty, Janie, Queen Califia, BearWulf, Leather Tramp, Betty Rose, Dave Williams & MBT, Rick Shelley, Minimall, Dancing Tongues and King Kang to the East Village Arts District (1st and Linden streets) in Long Beach. It’s free and all-ages.
► Powerfest, with Bilal, Patrick Paige II of The Internet, MixedByAli, Jungle Fire, El-Haru Kuroi, Ras G and Mr. Choc., goes off at Martin Luther King Jr. Park (3916 S. Western Ave.). Also free and all-ages.
► With their new album “Songs from the Pale Eclipse” just out, the Warlocks headline the Hi Hat, joined by Magic Wands and Von Haze.
► Flamin’ Groovies play the Bootleg Theater, along with the Loons and the Pandoras.
► Melissa Brooks & the Aquadolls rock the Echo, supported by Sizzy Rocket, Caroline Corn, the Side Eyes and Be All End All.
► Zakk Wyld, Otherwise and Jared James Nichols team up at the Fonda Theatre.
► The free Ones to Watch music series brings Lostboycrow, Spender Ludwig, Bryce Fox and DAVIS to downtown’s Union Station.
► And it’s the second of three nights with John Williams at the Hollywood Bowl.
