The fourth edition of Festival Supreme on Saturday at the Shrine, and had an outer space theme, and attendees were treated to a host of out-of-this-world performances. “Weird Al” Yankovic played his hits, which skewer other people’s hits; Flight of the Conchords returned as strong as ever; ranch-spewing Eric Andre was outlandish, really outlandish; and Test Pattern (the Talking Heads parody band manned by Fred Armisen, Bill Hader and Maya Rudolph) also performed. With hosts Tenacious D (Jack Black and Kyle Gass) piloting the Space Disco room (as “Tenacious DJ”), the fest also enjoyed laughs from the likes of Sara Silverman, Patton Oswalt, Jenny Slate and Will Forte while everybody got into the costume-crazed fun.
