► The Airborne Toxic Event will be test-driving a batch of new songs at four dates over the next two weeks at the El Rey Theatre. Tonight’s the first.
► MØ, whose second album is due this year, and Tei Shi team up for a night of avant-pop at the Novo.
► Brooklyn’s Slothrust visit the Echo in support of their album “Everyone Else,” with Sons of an Illustrious Father and Ramonda Hammer supporting.
► Breaking Heights celebrate the release of their EP “Where We Are” at the Viper Room, supported by PLVNK, Titus and Apollo Bebop.
► Flames of Durga celebrate the release of their EP “Blindfolded” at the Satellite, joined by Stars at Night, the Menstruators and Pleasure Fix.
► Potty Mouth are on a U.S. tour with PARTYBABY, and it visits the Troubadour tonight, with Tennis System and Pastel Felt supporting.
