Los Angeles concerts for Saturday:

► The first day of When We Were Young goes off at the Observatory, featuring Morrissey, AFI, Cage the Elephant, Alkaline Trio and more. [Set times here.]
► The seventh annual BROKE LA festival brings James Supercave, Brasstracks, Bloodboy, La Bouquet, BOYO, CRNKN, Neo Fresco, Sober Rob, Omniboi, Pusher and many more to the Enox Events Center (4560 Worth St.). [Set times at the end of this post.]
The Damned celebrate 40 years at the House of Blues Anaheim.
FemFest 2017 goes off at E.F. Hutton Park on the USC campus, with Holychild, Miya Folick, Alina Bea, Liphemra, Amindi K Frost and more.
Foxygen brings its theatrical “Hang” tour to the Fonda Theatre, supported by Gabriella Cohen and Kingdom of Not.
► Nineties faves That dog. play the El Rey Theatre on the 20th anniversary of the release of their third album “Retreat From the Sun.”
Regina Spektor visits the Dolby Theatre in support of her acclaimed album “Remember Us to Life.”
► Guitarist Nels Cline, heading up an 18-piece band, plays UCLA’s Royce Hall in support of his recent album “Lovers.”
Chairlift, performing on one last tour before they break up, do the first of two nights at the Echoplex, with Kristin Kontrol supporting.
SWIMM hosts a mini-festival at the Hi Hat. “Love You Down” also features the Gloomies, Thumpasaurus, Cuesta Loeb, LA Font and Goldensuns.
► And pop duo POWERS, along with James Hersey, headline the Troubadour, with Nick Leng supporting.
