New York’s Beach Fossils gave an energetic performance Thursday night at the El Rey Theatre in support of their latest album “Somersault” — although perhaps not as energetic as some in the crowd made it out to be. The concert was interrupted momentarily by, of all things, a fight that broke out in the middle of the floor. With some in the crowd tumbling to the floor like dominoes, the band halted their set until order was restored.

She-Devils and Ablebody opened the night.
