► L.A.’s DWNTWN celebrate the July 21 release of their new album “Racing Time” a week early — they perform at It’s a School Night at Bardot. Autumn in June and Hollis Brown also perform, and you should get there early to see Badalax (the L.A.-via-U.K. trio formerly known as BONES).
► Winter [see “Jaded”] headlines the Hi Hat, joined by BOYO, Franky Flowers and Fragile Gang.
► Dustin Lovelis [see “Tompkinsville”] kicks off his residency at the Bootleg Theater, supported by Two Sheds and Rufrano.
► Bloody Death Skull continue their residency at the Echo, joined by Part Time, Wyatt Blair and the Fuzzy Crystals.
► AOE continue their residency at the Satellite, supported by I, Us & We and Wake the Wild/
► And Logic is back for a second night at the Greek Theatre.
