Playing the second of a two-night stand at the Hollywood Palladium, Portugal. The Man gave the kind of eclectic but rocking performance fans of the Portland-based band have come to expect.

The band performed only three songs from their new album “Woodstock” — “Number One,” “Feel It Still” and “So Young” — while mixing in a healthy dose of material from 2011’s “In the Mountain in the Cloud” and 2013’s “Evil Friends.” The song “Modern Jesus” from the latter album inspired a huge sing-along. Also in the mix were covers and medleys, as PTM kicked off the show with Metallica’s “For Whom the Bell Tolls” and ended the main set with Oasis’ “Don’t Look Back in Anger.” They strung together “Another Brick in the Wall Part 2” and “Purple Yellow Red and Blue” early in the evening, and linked Ghostface Killah and the Beatles in another excursion (“All Your Light (Times Like These)” to “Kilo” to “The Home” to “I Want You [She’s So Heavy]”).

Hanni El Khatib opened the night.
