► The legendary Wanda Jackson heads up the lineup at Roots Roadhouse, which kicks off at 3 p.m. at the Echo and Echoplex. The lineup also includes the Cactus Blossoms, Jesse Dayton, Whiskey Shivers, Scott H. Biram, JD Wilkes & the Legendary Shack Shakers and more.
► L.A. trio KING is the headliner at Queens of the New Age: Festival of Extraordinary Women — a free, daylong festival at the California African American Museum. Along with DJs, workshops, food, vendors and exhibits, the event also boasts performances by Linafornia, Ill Camille, Kona, Aminidi K. Fro$t, AKUA, Novena Carmel, Yazmin Monet Watkins, Alima Lee, Ro Wyldeflower and Moni Vargas.
► L.A. trio SadGirl winds up their spring tour with a show at the Teragram Ballroom, joined by Peach Kelli Pop, Healing Gems and Bruiser Queen.
► And British rockers Glass Animals visit the Observatory.
