Sharply focused despite having monitor issues, Meg Myers regaled a sold-out Echo on Monday night with songs old and new — previewing eight of the tunes from her album “Take Me to the Disco,” out July 20.

Myers performed “Sorry,” the title track to her 2015 debut, early in the set and answered it with the new song “I’m Not Sorry” later. Onstage, she ranged from wide-eyed and intense to playful (fist-bumping somebody up front) to possessed to spastic, particularly on the new song “Jealous Sea,” which will be out this week*. Much of the crowd waited hopefully after she ended her 12-song set with the new single “Numb,” but there would be no encore.

After the album’s release, Myers embarks on a tour that brings her to the Observatory on Sept. 15 and the El Rey Theatre on Oct. 17.

Dark Rooms opened the night, doing a set that included a cover of Broken Social Scene’s “Lover’s Spit.”

Setlist: Done, Sorry, Jealous Sea, Motel, Take Me to the Disco, Tourniquet, Monster, Tear Me to Pieces, Some People, I’m Not Sorry, Desire, Numb
