Patti Smith is headlining Pathway to Paris‘ global initiative to bring attention to climate change with a concert at the Theatre at Ace Hotel on Sept. 16.

Along with Smith, the concert will also feature appearances by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ Karen O, Flea, Eric Burdon, French popstar Imany, and Tibetan artist Tenzin Choegyal. Skate legend Tony Hawk, 350.org’s Bill McKibben and Pathway to Paris Founders Jesse Paris Smith and Rebecca Foon are also scheduled to appear. Multi-media artist Steven Sebring will be presenting an art and sound installation.

The concert is part of Pathway to Paris’ “1000 Cities” initiative, a worldwide attempt to transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy by 2040, in an attempt to turn the Paris Agreement into reality.

Tickets go on sale here at 10 a.m. Friday.
