Draemings have a way with creating synth-pop that feels like long lost tracks from “The Crow” soundtrack. Evocative of a sensuous darkness, it’s easy to imagine a conflicted hero jumping across rooftops in the rain under a full moon to “Siamese Flame.” “’Siamese Flame’ is about meeting your loved ones again and again, and the flames that we carry for each other, only to find each other’s light again and again in the darkness of every lifetime,” says spiritually minded frontwoman Kimi Recor. This is the first in a line of singles the band will release via Recor’s label, PLAG Records, while Recor, bassist Thorson, guitarist Christopher Vick and drummer Nathaniel Meek write and record the follow-up to last year’s self-titled EP. They expect to release their next EP in 2019.
