Tarfest 2018: Freedom Fry, WILD, Caught a Ghost, Smoke Season and more

L.A. folk-pop trio WILD will be joined by Caught a Ghost, Smoke Season, Freedom Fry and Jane Holiday on the main stage at the 16th annual Tarfest.
The free, all-ages arts and music festival goes off from 1 to 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22, at the La Brea Tar Pits Park on the Miracle Mile.
Staged by the nonprofit arts organization LAUNCH LA, Tarfest also will feature live painting by Brett Crawford and Holly Tiempo, dance performances, breakdance and percussion workshops, all manner of children’s activities, food trucks and a beer garden.
