KCRW announces lineup for annual Masquerade on Oct. 27 at Los Angeles Theatre

KCRW has announced that their annual Halloween Masquerade extravaganza will be held at the historic Los Angeles Theatre in downtown L.A. on Oct. 27, with performances by Cherry Glazerr, White Denim, Wajatta, Shannon Shaw and the Lucent Dossier Experience, along with DJ sets from Santigold, Dam-Funk and the Brothers Griin (Flaming Lips drummers Matt Duckworth and Nicholas Ley). The station’s DJs will also be spinning on the decks throughout the evening. 

The Los Angeles Theatre, located at 615 S. Broadway in Downtown L.A., is the last of the great movie palaces built on Broadway between 1911 and 1931, completed with the help of Charlie Chaplin in time to premiere his film “City Lights.”

Attendees are encouraged to attend the 21-plus event in costume. Tickets are $89.90 before fees (eight ticket limit per household) and are available here until they sell out or latest noon of Oct. 27. Proceeds of the haunted merriment benefit KCRW’s programs.
