On Tuesday, Swedish pop stylist Lykke Li returned to Los Angeles — a city she considers “my second hometown,” she said, “where ‘So Sad So Sexy’ was written dreamed, and produced.”

The 32-year-old was welcomed adoringly by a packed house at the Wiltern, where the stage was decorated with giant banners of her eyes. Starting with the title track from “So Sad So Sexy” (her fourth album, released in April), the 16-song performance included all but one song from that latest release. Dressed in an all-black oversized latex suit, hair slicked back and high platforms, she mixed choreographed moves with her back-up dancers and improv dancing.

Included in the set were older favorites such as “I Follow Rivers,” “No Rest for the Wicked” and “Little Bit,” and she wrapped the night up with a cover of Usher’s “U Got It Bad.”

L.A. duo Tiron & Ayomari opened the night.
