► L.A.’s Sir Sly teams up with Joywave for a night at the Fonda Theatre.
► Acclaimed Spanish singer Buika holds forth at the Luckman Fine Arts Complex.
► Orgone celebrate the release of their new album “Reasons” at the Teragram Ballroom.
► Night 2 of Felte: A Celebration brings the label’s Odonis Odonis, Ritual Howls, Public Memory, Devon Church and more to the Pico Union Project. [Set times.]
► The Mowgli’s headline the Troubadour in support of their new EP “I Was Starting to Wonder,” with Arms Akimbo and Elijah Noll supporting.
► L.A. trio Young Creatures co-present the Creature Feature Festival at the Hi Hat — Sugar Candy Mountain headlines; the hosts, Blank Tapes, Bloodboy Ryan Pollie and Carly & the Universe also perform; and there is comedy, a pool tournament, raffles and prizes.
► Night 2 of Thursday’s 20-year celebration at the Echoplex includes the band playing their 2003 album “War All the Time.” Taken opens the night.
