► Afrobeat stalwart Seun Kuti, fronting his father’s band Egypt 80, headlines the Regent Theater in support of his 2018 album “Black Times.”
► Mazzy Star does the first of two nights at the Cathedral Sanctuary at Immanuel Presbyterian.
► Irish singer-songwriter Gavin James plays the Roxy in support of his sophomore album, “Only Ticket Home,” released last October. Forest Blakk opens.
► Worn-Tin celebrates the release of his album “Cycles” with a show at the Echo, supported by Tomemitsu and Bella Porter.
