After selling out the Teragram Ballroom just last month, Brooklyn-based Crumb added and promptly sold out another Los Angeles show, this time at the Lodge Room in Highland Park. Lila Ramani (guitar, vocals), Jesse Brotter (bass), Brian Aronow (keys, sax) and Jonathan Gilad (drums) returned to L.A .with just a quick 10-song set. Crumb performed an even spread of popular older tunes and some newer well songs, one of which was the recently released “Part III.” After finishing up their set, saying their thanks and heading off stage, Crumb was graciously welcomed back by the enthusiastic crowd for one more. Ramani asked the packed room if it was OK if they played one more, and was met with screams of joy. It was clear that the band was trying to stay focused on the upcoming song, but one could also spot both Aronow and Gilad cracking a smile in reaction to their crazed fans.

Local acts Satchy and Aolani opened up the show.
