Nick Waterhouse brought out all the big guns for his album-release show Friday night at the Regent Theater, the second date on a month-long tour in support of his new, self-titled full-length.
Waterhouse’s big band, including two percussionists, a backup singer and two saxophone players, dug deep into the Waterhouse’s gritty rock ’n’ roll goodness, whether on sax solos or the frontman going deep into the blues during his guitar excursions. It thrilled a packed crowd young and old.
Chicago-born Ben Pirani opened the night.
